What a shame that the board should fall prey to such spiteful, negative individuals who behave like this "because they can" and hide behind the anonymity of forum pseudonyms.:eek:
Perhaps its time for moderators to be appointed as the behaviour displayed by some of you is quite disgraceful and I am sure you would not dare to insult people face to face the way you are doing so in the forum! Cowards!
I'll say it again - The OP called someone a "donkey fiddler".
This insult was in response to someone saying the OP was too poor to buy a £10k car. It might not have been polite, and maybe was a mild insult, but the OP's attitude and comments have been far worse than anything anyone has thrown at him.
Perhaps you should be calling the OP a coward?0 -

ER NO....the original poster came and asked for advice to buy a car.
the clever sarcastic poster APPLES then said your to poor to buy a car and this ......
The options you have are to buy a cheap car.
You are far too poor and with your low pay, trying to kid your mates you can afford a ten grand car is laughable.
In fact, you should try Yes Loans, I think they will accept you for a £10K loan.
NOW...call me stupid but thats patronising stupid and just pathetic.
i think if someone said the same to you what would you do agree?,no thought not;)
i stick by my comments thanks for your concern though0 -

Distress and unhappiness?
Some appear to be rather sensitive.0 -

Rubbish!! The likes of Apples2 and others of that ilk are the COWARDS. Plus they have no manners - their responses are unnecessary, patronising and extremely negative. A "mild insult" from Apples2? Again RUBBISH!!! It was uncalled for, unnecessary and unhelpful, and quite possible untrue. Maybe you should read properly - the OP didn't actually call anyone a donkey fiddler, he posed a rhetorical question, perhaps stooping to the rather murky depths of Apples2 due to provocation. If Apples2 and the like can't stand the heat, they should not be lighting fires........:eek:0 -

This forum isn't a Bad Jokes / Failed Clowns and Who Can Be the Nastiest / Most Sarcastic / Most Spiteful forum - if those of you who delight in such antics wish to post such posts, then please find like-minded people (there seem to be some here!)and start your own forum where you can all practice your negativity, bad manners and uncalled for remarks on one another....:(
I don't think it's "rather sensitive" to be shocked and appalled at the some of the responses to the OP and to other posters elsewhere on this subforum. I am dismayed that such obviously disturbed individuals (like Apples2) think it is "fun" to post such judgemental and arrogant rubbish - as I've said, it is unhelpful and unnecessary. If you have nothing positive or helpful to add, why add anything at all?:(0 -
Grow up the lot of you.Arguing like school kids. OP can you not save at least 3k then go back and try for a loan of 7k.0

The entire tone of this post has been caused by the OP's first response to the very first reply he received.
With an attitude like that, it's no wonder people have been having their fun.
I just wish it were this OP who made three posts then left.0
