legoland - can you beat this....?

hi

we want to go to legoland on 21st and 22nd october for my DS's birthday.
as we come from 'up north' we will be wanting accomodation for 2 nights, we're not to bothered if we have to drive 10-15 miles to legoland from the hotel.
we will require two rooms - each with 2 adults and a 3 year old in.

we would also require tickets for the park for 2 days, although one of the 3 year olds is v. tiny so would easily pass for a 2 year old.

the best price we have come up with so far is £420.00 for all of us.

could any one beat this?!

thanks

sarah

  • have u tried travel lodge for cheap rooms? do u have tesco points? if i were you i would try to make it cheaper as possible the reason being i understand we all have different tastes but we went in july and wasn't that too impressed with it. although we have been to disney florida alton towers and another theme park cant think of it now. we were given tesco vouchers which meant free entrance but would have been gutted to have forked out £80+ for the 4 of us

we have enough for us (2 adults and 1 kid) to get in for one day - but the packages seem ok value with the 2 days entrance.
SIL, who is comiong with us, doesn`t collect tesco clubcard points (stupid i know!) so she will be paying cash.

Holiday Inn Windsor do a package for room and tickets.Might be cheaper.

Don't know what ages your kids are but One day is enough at Lego Land and I agree with previous posting I wouldn't pay what they want for tickets we did it on clubcard deals.

Food inside is extortionate as well for your info.

If you look on https://www.superbreaks.com they do theme park packages. I have just done a very quick search and hotel (Jurys Inn Heathrow 14 miles from Lego land) comes in at £300 for 2 nights including breakfast and entry to the theme park. The Holiday Inn comes in at £330.00 once again with breakfast. Hope this helps. If you know anybody in the police force you can get a further discount with Superbreaks.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
  • Have you done a search on the hotels linked from the Legoland website? A quick search is showing 1 room for 2 adults, 1 child for £144 inc tickets for your dates. So £288 for all of you. Worth a look, book early as prices go up (we missed a bargin for Easter, gone up now).

I went to Legoland last June and spent £50 on a family room in a Travel Inn in Reading South and bought the tickets for Legoland over the Internet. Think it was approx £80 for one adult and 2 children. Family room was large enough for 2 adults and 2 children.
