  • Padstow is good if you get a nice day and has some quirky shops in amongst the normal places and things owned by Rick Stein. If you can go across the Camel Estuary to Rock on the ferry as well and try the Sharp's Brewery if you like beer.

    Polperro and St Agnes are nice too, as is Port Isaac - we've been going on holiday there every spring for three years. Also if you are prepared to drive a bit further and like history then maybe Tintagel Castle?
