1. Promoter and Organising Agents

The Promoter of this competition ("Competition") is Symantec Limited of Ballycoolin Business Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, Ireland ("Symantec"). Symantec have appointed Speed Communications Limited, of 48 Leicester Square, London, Wc2H 7LT, London as organising agents ("Organising Agents") for Inquiries.

Eligibility

This Competition is open to everybody who is interested in Symantec products and services and has its country of residence within the Territory (as defined in Section 8 below) ("Participants"). Participants must be 18 or over at the time the Competition begins and must have the explicit permission of a duly authorized representative of their employer (if applicable) to enter the Competition.
Employees of Symantec or of Organising Agents are not eligible to enter the Competition.
Registration

In order to enter the Competition, Participants must register at the following URL:
http://go.symantec.com/unlockthevault/en/ ("Competition Site"). Participants must provide the details as requested by the registration form such as their name, their country of residence, the company they work for, and to contact them to confirm their entry and notify them if they have won a prize.
2. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Participation in the Competition is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Accordingly, it is important that all Participants read the Terms and Conditions carefully. This is a legal and enforceable contract between the Participant and Symantec and Participants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions by indicating their assent electronically and taking part in the Competition. If a Participant does not agree to these Terms and Conditions they will be excluded from entry to the Competition, and they should log off the Competition Site.
3. Competition access and duration

The Competition runs from 10am to 2pm BST on the following days: 13 September 2010, 14 September 2010, 15 September 2010, 16 September 2010 and 17 September 2010 ("Competition Period"). Only entries made during the Competition Period will be valid. All entries must be submitted via the Competition Site. There is no charge to enter the Competition.
4. Competition Structure

• The start of the Competition will be announced at the beginning of the Competition Period via Twitter (@enterprisevault) and also by email invitation to selected prospect Participants. Interested parties will then be directed to visit the Competition Site and register their details.
• On registering, Participants will see the Competition Site- main page, which represents the door of a bank vault with six spaces for entering numbers, below each of which is an [submit] button. The intention of the Competition is to correctly enter all six numbers that make up the combination and unlock the vault.
• 24 hours after the Competition is announced, the Competition starts on the Competition Site by sending a riddle to all registered Participants by e-mail and posting the riddle on Twitter. Via Twitter @enterprisevault is used to tweet clues to the answer of the riddle throughout the day. Participants joining the Competition via Twitter must register on the Competition Site first to be eligible to receive a prize.
• There will be six (6) riddles in total, one per day from day 1 to day 5 of the Competition Period with an additional riddle on day 5 of the Competition Period. All riddles will be skill-based, requiring Participants to complete a mathematical puzzle.
• Each solution of the riddle from day 1 to day 4 of the Competition Period will be awarded with a day prize as identified below in Section 5 below. When Participants have arrived at the answer, Participants will need to log on to Competition Site and enter the number in the relevant space and press the [submit] button. Participant will then be advised if this is the correct answer. The first Participant to submit the answer of the riddle of the day through the Competition Site correctly wins the day prize.
• On the fifth day of the Competition, the main prize as identified below in Section 5 below will be awarded. In order to receive the main prize Participant has to solve two (2) further riddles on day 5 of the Competition Period and also has to have successfully resolved the riddles from day 1 to day 4 of the Competition Period. For the fifth riddle the same process as for the day 1 to day 4 riddles will be followed, i.e. the Participant enters the correct answer to the fifth riddle and also completes the correct numbers from the four (4) riddles of all previous days via the Competition Site, then with all 5 riddles resolved and entered on the Competition Site the Participant will 'Unlock the Vault'. The Unlocked Vault will then face the Participant with a last, sixth riddle, a space for the numerical answer to the sixth riddle and a [submit] button. The first Participant to submit the answer of the sixth riddle of the day through the Competition Site correctly wins the main prize.
• The overall intention of the game is to encourage Participants to complete all five riddles correctly over the five days to be eligible for the main prize as identified in Section 5 below. Only Participants who have completed all five riddles correctly can Unlock the Vault and hence be eligible to participate in the final riddle for the main prize.
5. Checking for winner(s) and prizes

(1) Prizes will be awarded daily during the Competition Period between 18.00 and 19.00 GMT. Winners will be contacted by e-mail to state that they have won the prize and to ask for delivery details. Winners will also be announced via the @enterprisevault Twitter account.
(2) The five day prizes awarded in this Competition will be gold-plated iPod Touches with an approximate retail value of 500 GBP. The main prize for the 6th day riddle will be a gold-plated top of the range 64GB iPad 3G with an approximate retail value of 1,500 GBP.
(3) All prizes will be dispatched to Participants on the next working day after winning the contest.

6. Tax and other liabilities

All taxes (income, earning, value added, state, local, federal or otherwise) imposed by any government or regulatory authority having jurisdiction upon the Participant are the sole responsibility of the Participant. Neither Symantec nor the Organising Agents will enter into any discussions, payment, subsidy or contribution to any tax liabilities surrounding the payment of the prize. Any winner(s) should seek independent financial advice if this is a concern.
7. Warranties and limitation of liability

(1) Any problems with the functionality of the prize are subject to the manufacturer's guarantee which is either detailed in the product documentation accompanying the prize or which can be ordered from the manufacturer directly. The winner is responsible to follow all instructions and in case of a guarantee to comply with all requirements to register and raise its claim.
(2) To the extent permissible by law, Symantec excludes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as well as any liability in respect to the prize(s) except for damage that is proven to be caused by shipment or processing by Symantec.
(3) Under no circumstances shall Symantec be liable for any Internet malfunctions that may prevent the Participant’s participation in the prize draw as planned. Moreover, Symantec shall accept no liability in the event Participants have made errors or mistakes when registering or participating in the prize draw.
8. Territory

Participants with a residence in below countries ("Territory") are entitled to participate:
UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Russia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the Czech Republic or Hungary.
9. Obligations of winner(s)

By entering the Competition, Participants agree that, in the event of winning a prize, Symantec may use their name in publicity, and all Participants waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. This obligation shall last for 6 months after the end of the Competition Period, after which it shall terminate. The names and country and area of residence of any winners will be available by written request to the Organising Agents.
10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England, excluding provisions regarding conflicts of law. Participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for all matters (including contractual and non-contractual disputes) involving this Competition. In the event that the law of any country in which this Competition operates stipulates that special terms and conditions are required in such country, additional specific Terms and Conditions will apply and must be agreed to by Participants resident in such country. This will be apparent at the registration stage for Participants.
11. Language

The governing language for communications regarding this Competition will be English. For promotional purposes other languages may be used within the Competition Site and its supporting promotional activities (for example, advertising) – but English will be used as the primary language for all related validations and correspondence.
12. Decisions of the Promoter

All decisions and actions of the Promoter, the Organising Agencies and/or the Insurer relating to the Competition and/or any award of the prize are exercised according to their absolute discretion and are final. No discussions or correspondence will be entered into with Participants or other parties.
Please be aware that Symantec Ltd., Ireland will need to collect and process the personal data you provide for the purpose of your registration for and the administration for the download of marketing materials. By proceeding with this registration you consent to Symantec Ltd., Ireland, collecting, using, transferring and processing any personal data you provide to us hereunder for the purpose mentioned above. You further agree to Symantec Ltd., Ireland, transferring your data to its affiliates, subcontractors, in particular and fulfillment partners acting on behalf of Symantec (collectively "Symantec") including in countries located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) for the same purpose.
The collection, use, process and transfer by Symantec of this personal data will be done in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Symantec has taken steps so that the collected personal data, if transferred, receives an adequate level of protection, including by using Data Transfer Agreements where required.

i highlighted the entry date because when you register they will send you the password and after log in on the site the message is it will start on 13 october,is confusing but we need to see after 13 september how it goes
