  • No-one on here will be able to give you a definitive answer.

At the risk of stating the obvious, why don't you phone them and ask and you'll probably get an answer straight away?

    :s
  • 3 will not let you upgrade early even if you offered to pay your contract up to the upgrade point all they will advise you is that you pay your current contract up in full then take out a new contract and if you want to keep your existing number then you would need to port it to a pay as you go sim and then port it back to your new contract....sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the choices they gave me last month and I have only got to wait 2 more months before I can upgrade.
  • Probably hence the reason the networks are really going for 24 month contracts; people want the latest handset, it becomes so desirable to them they become infatuated with it that they must have it at all costs, then (like in this instance) 10 months down the line they want another phone. "Kerching" says the network and they've got you.

I really don't understand people who take out 24 month contracts unless they are absolutely certain that is what they need and know they won't be tempted to get another handset in that time; I took out a 24 month handset because it was exactly what I needed (until Vodafone changed things around and I got out early, had they not changed things I would gladly have stuck to that because it is what I need).
