You could do this but it is highly likely they would only offer a reapir/ replacement which is their legal right.

You may then end up with 2 Tvs

What made you wait 9 months to think of this hair brained idea

Morally you should not be even contemplating this

Well they told me they couldnt do anything for me, so i just left it on the side in my bedroom until i could afford to get it fixed. BUt why should I when they sold me a faulty tv. SO i asked my mate and this is what he suggested. I will just do it anyway

You not having a receipt or indeed any proof of purchase is whose fault?

HMM erm, let me think... mine maybe? Why dont you just say that instead of being sarci! AT the end of the day I lost my receipt like many people do, I was in the process of moving house at the time aswell, but even so, they shouldnt have sold me a faulty tv. Thanks for your help! It was very kind of you :D

So it's your fault....are you happy to commit fraud and risk being caught?

And if/when you are found out you do know that you will have great difficulty getting any affordable type of insurance for the rest of your life?

You can find your receipt...or proof of purchase...or chalk it down to experience.

They didn't sell you a faulty TV. You said it was working for 2 weeks.
