You could do this but it is highly likely they would only offer a reapir/ replacement which is their legal right.

Well they told me they couldnt do anything for me, so i just left it on the side in my bedroom until i could afford to get it fixed. BUt why should I when they sold me a faulty tv. SO i asked my mate and this is what he suggested. I will just do it anyway0 -

HMM erm, let me think... mine maybe? Why dont you just say that instead of being sarci! AT the end of the day I lost my receipt like many people do, I was in the process of moving house at the time aswell, but even so, they shouldnt have sold me a faulty tv. Thanks for your help! It was very kind of you
