HSBC Overdrawn

I think this is more of a moan than a request for advice!!

I am currently going through a temp finincial shortage. I had applied for a student account with muy current bank HSBC but they are useless (another story!!) After weeks of trying to produce non existent docs I gave up and had it turned from a 'pre-student' back to my normal aco!!!! :(

On Monday 2 DD's came out and left me £1.39 overdrawn (one was honoured and one returned)

On Wed I had a payment made to my account of just over £50 but immediatly the bank took £25 for 'pre-notified fees'.. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that I have to pay fees for going over drawn, it is my fault, I don't dispute that....

However I only recieved the notification letter yesterday!! I says they will 'Pre-notify me before this sum is debited to my account'

I can't see how sending mew a letter after taking the money is pre-notifying me :(

It has now left me in a tighter position than before. Thanks a lot HSBC
