OK. I tried to sell a DVD last year on ebay but the winning bidder turned out to be dodgy. No harm done apart from the fact tat I lost my ebay fee - I didn't send the DVD off because no money arrived in thge paypal account.

My question is this ... is the idea of making serious cash on ebay a myth?You hear these stories about people making some serious cash - I've spoken to someone who reckons she makes a load selling leather jackets.

But I simply don't know how this can be possible. I'm guessing there are people who flood the site with knick-knacks etc. but if you don't manage to sell you'd be losing money in fees to ebay hand over fist.

Anyone else think it's a myth?

If the bidder didn't pay file a non paying bidder notice and you will get the fees back. But yes - not really a tech Q.

I couldn't find the ebay section. You're right it's not a techie question. Where is the ebay section then?

go back where u came from and go down about 16 blocks. it will be there just in front of you. if you get lost again ask someone in the shop to you drop board

A bit late for that if it was last year. I believe the deadline is 45 days. Useful advice for next time if there is there is one, though.
