Iphone 4 micro-sim only deals
Looks like my time with orange is coming to an end. Despite been a customer for over 10 years, they will only send me a microsim with an automatic £10 bolt on, bringing my £20 for 600mins and unlimited text 30day rolling contract to £30.
I tried to reason that if i use the internet it will be at home after work and i already have wifi but they just pass you from person to person (dnt even think its different departments).
Anyway anyone know of any good deals, im looking for a similar deal, not really interested in megabytes or that bt openzone thing.
Anyone moved network to get a better deal? Im i been unneccessarly nervous not wanting to switch, after all a numbers a number right?

Electronically Micro-sim is identical to sim card. Can always go DIY. But I agree, £30 a month without iPhone is a rip-off. :eek:0

Three - 12 month contract, 2000 minutes, 5000 texts, free skype and MSN - £25
O2 - 1 Month contract, 600 minutes, unlimited texts - £25 but £20 if you sign up for 12 months
Orange - 1 month contract, 600 minutes, unlimited texts - £25 so they are conning you by asking for £30
Vodafone - Exactly the same as O2.
I'd suggest doing a trawl of the cashback sites, such as Quidco, to see which ones are offering the biggest deal for swapping over and whether it's best for you to go 12 or 1 month. If you don't know about cashback sites, here's a link to the MSE article that explains it all.In the beginning, the universe was created. oscar, surely those are not micro sim but rather normal sim only deals? Do the networks give you a micro sim if you ask them nicely?0

Three do iPhone4 sim-only plans and iPhone 3GS sim-only plans. I would imagine the rest do the same.If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

Hi Jamjaw. If you follow the links, you'll see that they are all sim AND microsim deals. That's why I didn't include T-Mobile at present.Exhortation wrote: »Three do iPhone4 sim-only plans and iPhone 3GS sim-only plans. I would imagine the rest do the same.
Yup!!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
The T-Mobile deal on Hot UK Deals here has reports of people asking for Microsim. You can port your number into T-Mobile at any time. You get inclusive data on this too.
The iPhone at least used to disconnect from WiFi and use cellular data when in sleep mode. Does it still do that?0 -
The size of the sim is irrelevant as it's best to just choose the best deal and cut the sim if the standard sim is cheaper.
Charging more for a smaller sim is just a way of milking the gullible.0 -
Thanks for the replies. Orange are still been persistant with this extra £10 thing. Got my microsim in the post on the weekend so see what happens when i try to connect it. Still got 2 wks till iphone delievered.
Did ask them about the £25 sim deal on the website, one person says its only for new customers, another says only if youve brought the iphone from them. Confused .com?
At least its costing nothing to keep trying:money:Anyone else had success?0
