I know this isnt moneysaving but its just a quick question re ringtones theres 2 types ringtones is there not, monophonic and ployphonic tones right, whats the difference,

  • mono ringtones are a series of single bleeps that make up a tune while polyphonic tones use several tones in groups, at the same time, to make tunes. So, polytones sound more like real music than monotones. Hope this helps.

    PS The handset has to be compatible with the ringtone download..not all handsets support polyphonic ringtones (although most latest handsets do)

    ive got the k800i, so polytones are better, are there ant that are real music

  • Sure there are real music tones...they are called realtunes and the k800i supports them. They are basically samples of real music tracks. Realtunes can be sound effects too, so you can have sounds like dogs barking, etc.

    These are the highest quality ringtones and generally come in mp3 or wav formats.

    Yes. Then download them to your PC and transfer to your phone. I think you have to register (which is free) before it'll let you download anything.
