Its a toughie. Can't find any definitive answer yet. However, I am inclined to go with the largest value of 4 as the common quote seems to be "many" ?0 -
I've found a list of all the stones in the burial ground on the RCAHMS record, and I'm still none the wiser

The fact that they, of all people, don't mention any Templar graves suggests that the connection isn't really proven, which would explain why not a lot of sites mention it except those who have the same text as the distillery website.
There's 6 graves on that record which are all in the same style, from roughly the same period and depict swords. However 2 are described as having 'Lombardic capitals' and I wonder if these could be the ones supposed to belong to Templar Knights?0 -

Quick question - now we have a consensus and since this has an end date, I was going to pm and ask for it to be moved to the main board so more people see it? It's already linked to in the weekly sticky so people should still be able to find it ok but I don't want to cause confusion. If anyone has any objections can you let me know?0
