WOW - what a great idea and just the kick start i need to get me into saving some dosh.
Im generally useless with money lol and if someone said to me " Can you save a grand in 11 weeks " my normal response would be a hearty laugh and a reply of " IMPOSSIBLE" ( bearing in mind i'm a stay at home dad and therefore dont work so havent ANY money to start saving with) BUT, after reading this thread, thinking about it logically and adding the element of the saving being FUN i reckon its do-able
SO SIGN ME UP :j
Just gotta work out what to make my first pound on , Hmmmmmmmmm :idea:0 -
Wahey! I've had a proper start. I've sold a couple of freebies and bits and bobs, and unwanted presents, so I've got about £30 in my paypal account. Found a few Abercrombie and Fitch presents (from america) I've never worn so they're now on ebay and hoping I'll get something for them.
I've also had £250 put in my account from tescos, think it may be my shares as I've left, so technically I didn't buy them, so not sure if they can count towards it or not?0 -

I would love to take a look at some MSEs ebay listings, never know, might spot something I might like!
I am not sure if I am allowed to ask on here for people's ebay ids, so if anyone would like someone to take a look at what they have on offer, please PM me.
Thanks0 -
Ooh I've got people watching my abercrombie stuff and a jane norman dress already, wow that was fast! No bids yet though, but early days!0

I think im gonna start with the good old ebay method of gaining my first pound and rather than sell something that someone has given me im gonna im going to try a "fun" auction to keep in the spirit of the Paperclip Canadian mentioned earlier in the thread
Havent a clue what "fun" thing i am going to ebay yet though but plenty of time for thinking.
Anyway - in my auction am i ok to link to this site and this thread as id rather tell people what im attempting to do rather than appear to be ripping a buyer off0
