They did ask for details of my employer and the length of time that I had been there.
I am not sure if you don't have those details what would happen.
I only signed up for a savings account, nothing that would need a credit check. Perhaps you would be okay with this as well if you aren't working (in the traditional sense of the word, though being a stay at home mum, you work more than me!)
I got an initial approval and now i am waiting for the application pack so I can send back two items with my name and address on them.
Nothing wrong with giving it a try.0 -

I have come across a website called https://www.ibootsale.co.uk
As the name suggests, it is an online carboot sale, all year round.
Just thought some people might be interested in taking a look, either to pick up a bargin to sell on or to sell some of their own items.
I do not know all the ins and outs yet, but you list for free and you can list up to 25 items free.
I have posted a message on the Ebay/Car Boot forum to see if anyone has any experience with this site.
Just a thought....0 -
I bought a huge pumpkin from the farm near my daughter's school after I had dropped her off this morning. I have sold it to an admirer for double what I paid for it already. I will buy another two when I go back to school this afternoon. :jFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0
