Well I've been clicking like mad on rpoints for my free money to start with, and have listed my free Blockbuster vouchers and free adams vouchers on ebay...loving the challenge, until I realised my eleven weeks ends on 24.12.06!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. What sort of items are people getting from Charity shops to sell on ebay?
I assume that it is only worth getting branded clothing? In my area all the shops know the value of pottery, etc and price accordingly. What about CDs or DVDs?
I could do with a few pointers as i'm off shopping for bargains in the morning.
AndyI like free - it's my favourite price

Did we decide that I couldn't use the money gained from selling my Tesco Legoland vouchers? It's just that I got £55 profit from them......................:smileyheaRachel xx0

HI....andy..... when it comes to charity shops i mainly go for clothes and books.....yes the branded sports wear goes well on ebay....i bought a 80's shellsuit nike top for 50p and it just sold for £25. and that was on its second listing...also i buy and sell vintage clothing....and accessories...
it might be the wrong time of the year now.... but i also sell quite a few hats... the wedding one off occassion hats...but the ones i buy now i am saving for the spring....i started selling them as my mother has a fancy dress shop with these types of hats that she hires out... and at the end of the season she gives them to me to sell whether they have been used or not...as they dont match the following seasons colours
thats a thought... i could try one of the hats on ebay this week....that she has given me...
i try to sell with the seasons if poss...so look at the kiddies toys....and if they are excellent condition... they would be ideal for listing now ready for christmas...
i have found cds hit and miss.. but good luck go with your gut instinct.... also go to the charity shops that are for local charities etc... you find you get better bargins there...let us know what you had.....Work to live= not live to work0 -
Well I sold a book I had been given on E-bay - after fees, I have £3.15 to add to my sig - total £7.15.
The sad thing is this is 'virtual' money - how are people handing the actual cash from this challenge - a pot, a bank account, a savings account?
So much less satisfying when it's 'virtual'!
I think I may transfer the £7.15 to a separate account so I can 'see' what this challenge is costing/earning...MFW #185

Just butting in,
but what about signing up for a savings account via quidco (if that avenue hasn't already been exhausted).
I have just signed up for the Cahoot saving account.
Just a thought.0 -
