    Hello

I am so sorry for not being around on this thread for a while. I became ill and then broke my toes and then the whole business with my sister and her little baby bump again kind of took over.

I therefore fell really behind and felt a bit ashamed (if you know what I mean :o ) that I had started the thread and not kept up with everyone else. It made me lose motivation to be honest and I just kind of sloped off and hid for a bit in my little 'clear a debt a month' thread.

Well done to you all for what you have achieved. A special congratulations to Annie - you have done brilliantly!! :T :T

I don't feel that anyone has trodden on my toes whatsoever and I am just pleased that this thread has been such a hit and that people have been able to achieve so much.

If another thread is started next year then I would be glad to join in and will promise to stick around this time :o

thats what I tought although it did make me chuckle!

no need to be embarressed emily just glad your ok! alot of us have been struggling due to illness, work and xmas!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
  • Hi emily - good to se you back - no embarrassment needed - you started us all off brining in money we wouldn't have had !
  • Thanks Emily

If it wasn't for your idea then i doubt we would have this thread.

I have about £50 for each of the weeks of the challenge (not sure about how much until i actually work it out) which is money i would not have made if i hadn't had the motivation of people on this thread.

Looking forward to the next one and hope to do better next time.

You don't need to be embarrassed emily, any money made from nothing is fab! Without you we wouldn't have had this thread at all! :T :D

I haven't really done anything much in the last few weeks because I've been too busy but have found time for a little bit of matched betting and have increased the total a bit, I'm sure if I'd had more time I could have got over the £512 mark - which is amazing considering how low my expectations were at the beginning!

I don't think I'll join another challenge in the new year, this one has given me the push needed to learn matched betting, and I will definitely get back into car-booting etc when the weather improves!

Good luck to everyone doing a new challenge, to reach £3k would be absolutely amazing! :T

Great to hear from you Emily - you've inspired us all by starting this thread and it's great to hear that you're OK. Hope to see you around in the New Year.
