Hi everyone,
I've started the money for nothing challenge (the OH is doing it too - we've made it into a competition to keep us motivated!) and so far I've made £10.16 and I'm on my third week. But I'm getting a bit confused keeping a tabs on what I'm spending etc. Has anyone got any suggestions for spreadsheet lay-outs so I can easily see what I'm making and spending?
Been rummaging in the charity shops today to see if I could spot any bargains!! It was quite nice - got the thrill of shopping without spending any of my 'own' money...:DProud To Be Dealing With My Debts! :j:j0 -

Yeah know the feeling, mine went for £2.70 including P&P... less than what I paid for it! Although they've paid by e-cheque and it's still not cleared, I might end up keeping it at this rate...
I don't really have anyone to give them to for Christmas, may just keep the stuff myself! :rolleyes:0 -
get paid next week so might have a go at matched betting...if i am brave enough well done miss muppet great stuff
cant really justify wearing lip balm myself thats as expensive as elizabeth arden

I've bought a tea set and a pair of ralph lauren trousers to sell on ebay hopefully at profit so my totals down to 265.52. I'm still on target this week but how on earth I'm going to double it by next week I do not know - no idea at all - haven't got a clue.
I'm just despairing now. How do you make 512 from 265 in one week? Positive steps I can take today: matched betting, list trousers (tea set not here yet), look into listing OH's AA vouchers that he has donated to the cause, list a 10 pound M&S voucher that was given to me for my last Bday, speak to brother about designing me a w/site - not an immediate money spinner though so may not count in time for challenge, apart from that I'm a bit stumped really and I can't see that making me my 512. I think this is nearly as bad as labour - I'm having to do breathing exercises again!!

I haven't been using spreadsheet just simple word table where I list income/outgoing and have a running total. My money pot has been virtual because it is spread out between various places - ebay/amazon/bank etc etc I just know that in my big household pot of money there is now alot more than there would have been had I not started this challenge and any spare money in this big household pot goes towards paying off debts so I expect that my debts would have shrunk by approx my total by now - is that confusing ? Or are you following me?? Good luck
Sold a white xmas video this morning which someone gave me so thats another £3.69 to add to pot.0 -
