That's about £40.50p............doesn't sound as bad now eh? And since it was free money and didn't come out of your pocket (as has been said) just put it down to experience and move on fast!

thanks guys. im devastated would have been a great total to add and given a great boost. but oh well. got some more vouchers coming so hopefully fingers crossed. its the only thing i knew to spend them on so hopefully will just bail if i get enough again.
thanks for the support.
on a positive i made the £15.99 earlier and have a pj and duncan cd with 6 days left already selling. i was bought that when it first came out so decided to sell now i know they are going well.
11 items listed on ebay including a pram so fingers crossed for that as well.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
I have an idea that I would like to run past you guys. I listed tons of cones of wool on ebay that finished on Sunday. Only one sold. I think this is because they are not big enough to make whole garments from and many are only two ply.
My idea is to make toy kits. I can spin two lots of wool together to make two ply up to four ply. I can wind balls of wool to the right size for a pattern. I can access copyright free patterns from the internet. The only thing that I would need to buy in is knitting needles which I would get from my local independant craft shop as it helps her as well - and would only buy what I needed.
So go on - tell me your thoughts.:DFirst Direct Loan @ 7.9% £13,076.03/£20,250

u have nothing to lose
and now its the ideal time, from 6th November there's nothing else in people's thoughts than Christmas so would give someone the time to knit them in time for Christmas DayDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

Love the ideas to make toy kits - I'm not a great knitter but have tried in the past to knit toys but didn't have the right colours etc so they are odd but loved - but I wouldn't include knitting needles - just my opinion
Sounds a great idea

Thanks for the replies - why wouldn't you include needles?First Direct Loan @ 7.9% £13,076.03/£20,250

Perhaps you could list some with needles and some without (and mention it in the listing) so that there would be something for newbie knitters and the more experienced who have the necessary needles already. If I had my own needles I wouldn't want to pay more for a kit that included them but everything in a bundle is attractive to someone just starting out. Perhaps you might also have some patterns that are more appropriate for beginners and some for more experienced knitters?
Good luck - I think its a great idea!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way
