  • I personally have never had any problems with paypal, but then I never have anything of value to sell, the most expensive item I ever sold was £35
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

that's what everyone says until they get caught out. luckily i haven't been caught out... yet.

i accept paypal for small items as it's the quickest method for payment

I have an ebayshop as well as my own website and I use paypal for everything. After roughly 2,500 transactions, I've only had one bad experience and lost £22.......and I sell some very expensive stuff!!

Make sure you ship to the paypal address only and ALWAYS get at least recorded delivery to protect yourself against false chargebacks. "Not responsible for items lost in post" cuts no ice with paypal in the event of a claim. If it can't be tracked online, you'll lose.

Back to the challenge.......my matched betting isn't going well....yet.....but my ebay bits are going really well. The Lancome make-up didn't sell, but the bag is doing well and I'm speechless at my little city pieces as I thought they'd make £5-£10 tops....

    Good luck all!!
  • I find paypal so much easier, otherwise the auction closes you wait up to a week for the cheque to arrive, another week for it to clear and then eventually you send it off. at least with paypal alot of the time you get paid within 24 hours and you can send it out the following day, job done!!

  • I'm not sure if you're allowed to post a link. But if you say that Astrobingo are doing a £5 sign up bonus, I think that's OK, then people can go away and google it!

PS I found Astro a while back by googling 'free £5 bingo' - probably worth doing this every so often to check for new deals around! :D
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
