benedictadams or anyone, really..
Have you tried matched betting? I just checked Coral, betfair, paddypower and totesport sites... and they all look so different
Maybe I need to PM Dan29, the MB tycoon?
I think I am ok with the principle of MB, but where do you start once you opened an account with the bookies?
Thanks for your advice.
This should help http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=153246
I'm excited as I've just done my first matched betting this evening. Good luck if you decide to go for it- some people are doing very well out of it. See you on the gambling loophole board...Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

well done everyone; this thread is very inspiring;
quick question for ebayers; i have got to start ebaying my stuff - never done it before. do you use paypal or wait for cheques to clear?
thanks in advanceTH0 -
I use Paypal. The cost of parking near my bank is more expensive than the Paypal fees. I like the speed of Paypal too. I'm too impatient to wait for cheques to arrive.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0

very rarely do i get a cheque.
i'd prefer postal orders.
means i do get that i don't need cash when posting the item and can then pay the rest into my bank accountDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

if you have an old sticky label on a cd, or anything then get some furniture polish, leave it for a while, and it will lift it of a treat

maybe i'll get around to doing housework on christmas eve!Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
My house resembles a giant jumble sale...I've got bags of listed stuff...bags awaiting listing...bags to post...bags awaiting cheque clearance...etc etc! But it's all worth it. I've got 11 items ending today, all donated to me at some point. Hardest to put on was a mulberry bag given to me by my (now ex) husband. It was a hard decision to make, but every penny counts, and I have the satisfaction of getting some money out of him at last! Hope it sells though!!!2014 GC: £957.61/ £54000

I have a bid on one of my items!! yay!!
and I only put them on last night!!
It only the starting bid of 99p which if anything I now havent lost any money as this will pay the ebay fees for the 3 items, the actual item that has been bid on was a relisted item so will only have to pay the selling fee on that onefinally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
