This one?

Thanks, benedictadams!
Edit: just checked ebay: all read and all green items sell for £25-£30.0 -
this is the sort of blue shade

there are none of this colour listed on ebay in the past 30 days
most homes must have had them in the 70s as it was one of the models you could rent off BT and a lot of them will have ended up in land-fillDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
I have found this telephone on ebay, 130037026823. Looks like the blue shade we are after, but it sold for £8.
benedictadams or anyone, really..
Have you tried matched betting? I just checked Coral, betfair, paddypower and totesport sites... and they all look so different
Maybe I need to PM Dan29, the MB tycoon?
I think I am ok with the principle of MB, but where do you start once you opened an account with the bookies?
Thanks for your advice.0 -
or another one which if you are very very lucky to find

again the colour is the deciding factor
the sort of model which Linda had in Gimme Gimme Gimme
her's was pink, which they never actually made.
There are people out there who will buy a normal one for a few quid, tart it up and spray it any colour they want, and for some reason the customised ones will make more than the proper ones (it is hard to do as it has to look flawless)Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
sorry i can't help with the mb, i have never done it
Dan i think is the man to ask

If you get an old phone which has a few marks and surface scratches on the casing
remove the casing (which is a case of carefully removing the screw at the base and the screw which is in the middle of the dial thing)
get some t-cut (or poundland version) and polish it up
it will bring it up lovely
then put it back together
list on ebay
and let the money roll in!Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

Gosh! How do you know all these tricks? and all those 70s items so well?
I say... lots of live and learn for me here!;)0 -
a friend of an ex used to sell 746 and trim-phones on ebay and that was the best way to do it
if you have an old sticky label on a cd, or anything then get some furniture polish, leave it for a while, and it will lift it of a treat

It's surprising what will or wont sell on e-bay, I've found lately that things sell when relisted and have a few bids on them, not sure why didn't sell in first place but guess it depends on who is shopping and what they are looking for on ebay lol.
Well done everyone this challenge is going well.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300
