Everybody is doing so well! I'm in a bit of a rut now- got a few things listed on ebay but struggling a bit. Can't work out how to put the code in, and couldn't find anybody elses when I tried myself, but managed it through the link on here- so thanks for that!
Off to sort out more cupboards and get on with listings...
Good luck all! I'm wondering if I'll make anywhere near the £1024 now but anything is a bit of a result really!2014 GC: £957.61/ £54000 -

Loads of ebaying! I have been sorting out which things I was given- I always get loads of kids clothes given to me and when my kids have outgrown them, I put them on ebay!:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
I am quite pleased with my profit so far - total below is money in, minus spend and fees...
This weekend I got a mint Harry Potter playing card set (sealed) in a charity shop, which I figured someone would like as an Xmas pressie, plus an Aston Martin book at the boot fair, which I figured a collector would like. I am hoping these will sell well and compensate for the toot I didn't sell last week! I guess I will give those away and become more discerning with my purchases from now on...
However - 2 books I got very cheap at a boot fair last weekend sold for an extortionate amount this weekend considering they were 2nd hand - these are (see on Amazon) - Rich Dad Poor Dad (went for £7.20) and also Allen Carr's book on how to stop smoking (went for £8.27). Not bad considering I spent £1.50 plus fees!MFW #185

You get the cash straight away in your amazon account and you can request it in your bank which takes about 3-5 working days - I find amazon a lot better for selling books/cds/dvds etc than ebay because amazon don't charge you if your item doesn't sell! Plus you can compare with everyone else really easily because amazon bring up the information for you!Start every day by telling yourself how beautiful and intelligent you are0 -
Right - you have spurred me on with all this book talk I have 4 boxes of books (given to me) in my garage and I haven't even looked in them yet. I'm going to get them now and list them quickly. I will let you all know the outcome.

I hope that someone in ebayland takes pity on me:DDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
Total's up a bit cos my dear friend changed some of my euros for me (and a damn good rate she got too!) but I have also laid out a little bit for local advertising & after going round every charity shop in the big town got a nice Next jumper for a quid (in the only one with a £1 sale rail).
Have sold a couple of bits on ibootsale (not freebies, though, so doesn't count to total) so it does work & am going to try Greenmetropolis this week with a few paperbacks (some freebie, some not). Has anyone here tried Ebids for selling?
Also got the coal bunker advertised plus the phones & some toys, videos, lamps, a plastic dog bed, mats, vases & other stuff from the car boot bundle up for sale still - mostly in free ads or newsagents tho' I think I might try the phones on ibootsale as well. Will also try Tesco/Asda boards next time I'm in the big town.
Not panicking yet - got til Xmas to shift this stuff, after all.
May even get a crack at this matched betting thing this week - once my brain stops whirring!0 -
Trikerchick, your socks have been pulled from ebay!!!!!!!!!!!:smileyheaRachel xx0
