    Another blust!

I just noticed that ebay charged me 15p a listing on at least 6-7 items.

I would like to compalint! Has anyone disputed their charges ever, please?

    Thanks.

You've probably had the gallery option ticked......basic listing is 10p, but all listing upgrade fees - like gallery pic - still apply. I listed 50+ auctions today and all cost me £0.25p....

theres some good stuff on your listings:T

People at work think that i have lost the plot, spending my weekend trying to make money from nothing instead of going to football (mmmm hunky men in kits!)
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO

I know what you mean, freebird65.

But it did say on many occasions : insertion fee 15p.

I am still listing, but will probably email them tomorrrow, who knows maybe I get some money back?

If you have a quick read here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=283234 you'll see the following statement from Forum Manager about giving out our ebay ids:

    Hi Folks

To clarify : this would not be allowed here. We have to ensure we protect identities at all times and this could be a step to linking MSE usernames to contact details. Moreover, we do not allow buying and selling in this context on this forum, so there would be no cause to allow this anyways

I hope that clears things up.

Personally I don't want to post my id on a public forum, because of the possibility of anyone seeing it and causing trouble on my ebay listings or whatever, its just nicer not worrying about the two ids being linked. I wouldn't mind it being known by people on here that I know relatively well though, its the public bit I don't like!

Have a look at this thread soscrooge: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=286650

Is it in your seller account that you've been charged 15p, or is that the fee mentioned in other places?

Definitely worth complaining if you have been charged 15p for listings that qualify (i.e. not car listings).

    :)

Hey soscrooge......check your seller account!! I found I had to look there for the promo discount as it didn't come up in turbo lister. The discount was automatically applied there.

If not - try livehelp - they're really good and the only people worth bothering to attempt contact with at ebay!!
