Do you know why I was charged 15p per listing today

Options
I have listed 21 items on Ebay. I don't often bother but thought as others are having a good time making cash from what they don't want I will have a go.

However, on 10p listing day (today) I have been charged 15p! + 15p for the Gallery.

Does anyone know how I can find out why?
Does anyone else use gallery pics and does it help sales?

many thanks
louise

If you look at the thread running about today's 10p listing you will see that ebay are charging the full listing fee but it should show the 10p listing fee on the email confirming the listing; Ebay say the following on their announcement:
Please note: Even though the "Sell Your Item" form may show you have been charged the full Insertion Fee, if your item is eligible you will see from the "My Account" section of "My eBay" that the promotional fees have been applied to your listing.

It is only the listing fee that has been reduced to 10p, everything else is still chargeable. On a cheap listing day it is worth looking to sell expensive things as you save more, your low start item is only saving you 5p.

  • Thank you.

OOps most of what I listed was 99p or less.

I just hope it sells, I feel quite nervous.

You can always go back and edit your listing to increase minimum bid amount, provided no one has already bid on your item and you have more than 12 hours left before the end of the auction.
