Ooh, haven't a clue. Not sure it helps either - sometimes you'll get something for 90%, other times you'll need to pay the asking price, depending on how long the property's been on the market, how keen people are to move etc.0

According to hometrack, selling prices are 95% of asking price.
Although, as you say this varies wildly.0 -
Would Vary Lots mainly depending on each house and the asking prices!
I went in with a first offer Just over 92%. Offer that was accepted just under 93.5%.0 -
My mom has just had an offer accepted in Birmingham at 96% of asking price but they had dropped it previously by 3%. So in total it was 93% of asking price.
Last year she sold at 99.28% of the asking price even though she had initially accepted a lower offer when the buyer was not in a position to proceed.0 -
I had 94.5% accepted recently.0

Everyone's assuming this is in england.
can you confirm? cause if your in scotland your looking at what % OVER the asking price and 10-25% is common,
don't want u missing out on the house!Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -

South West London - got asking price, and an offer over as well (but went with asking price offer cos seemed more genuine).
Surely it depends on accuracy of your pricing in the first place? We got wildly varying valuations - £300k - £330k, put it on at £325k.0 -
There is a website that has all this info & more, and you can type in a postcode for your area.
I will try to find the link and post it.0 -
We offered 97.4% of the asking price for a 3 bedroom house in surrey, which got accepted0
