hi,
i rang sky again today to see if they were any offers on sky sports for existing customers. "i pay £22 now for 4 mixes"
the lady said there were no offers for me.
£12 for sky sports 1, or £20 for the full sports pack.just the standard prices.
rather disappointed as i am out of my contract now and i thought they would have offered a slight discount, as other people have had.
i may try again?
i was going to cancel sky and have a european satellite system installed for football, but the price is now too expensive.
alternatives are bt vision, and we have virgin in this area too.

I was recently sent a letter offering half-price Sports or Movies for two months if I signed up by phone but three months if I signed up online via sky.com/3halfprice using the enclosed special code (which turned out to be my 12 digit Sky account number).
Well that didn't work too well ("Invalid Code") and 45 minutes on the phone to Sky didn't get me too much further. Ended up with the two month deal with an additional £10 credit to make up for the missing month. I'd have preferred the 3rd month instead but by this point I was losing the will to live.0 -
was that for all of the sports pack?
i was maybe just after ss1 for football, but ive noticed a few games are on ss2.0 -
Yes, we've got all the sports channels. I rang up just before the England game on Tuesday and was able to watch it on SS2.0

i rang last night and got no luck.
i called cancellations who passed me to someone else and they told me there were no offers on.0 -
I used to have Sky sports but cancelled a while back.
I rang last night to be told it was £20 per month for sports package, after humming and hawing a bit about it being too much , he offer me the full sports package for 3 months at £10 per month.
hope this helps0 -
Just called now and was told £20.50 + £7 if I wanted the HD option activated. No deal for me...0

Called again, this time spoke to the cancellations department. They usually help but not this time

The footy is all over the place, sometimes on SS3 & 4 too. I subscribed to SS1 only thinking it'll do for the Premiership. They offered me a 3 month trial to all sky sports channels...and now and keeping them all
