Means you stand a resonable chance, as they will have done some pre-scoring on you before including you in the mail file. But remember, no guarantees (aprat from death and taxes, of course).0

The mail shot as well as your score means absolute peanuts....does not mean anything. Stop wasting money on your experian or equifax score..0

Nope!!
I've been pinning a lot on my 967 Score.....why was the previous chaps post so negative.....I thought thats what we awere all striving for.......0 -
As previously said, your score means absolutely nothing, what will be crucial for a lender is your current level of debt compare to your income, available credit, account conduct, defaults, arrears, time with employer, time at address, electoral roll and many more that they won't tell us about and this is why experian or equifax have half of the information required to assess your current situation and that your score is just a number generated out of thin air....0

Then it's simply marketing!Mustbeananswer?? wrote: »Nope!!
Don't! All it does is build your hopes up.I've been pinning a lot on my 967 Score.....
Because credit scores mean nothing...until the people selling you them take on the risk by giving you a credit card/loan/etc. Only then will many of us give them any credibility.why was the previous chaps post so negative0 -

I already have other commitments that I am managing admirably.....AT THE MOMENT???£10,000 loan £5000 credit cards
Is that very much in my favour then??0 -
If you have an income of 30k to 35k it is fine but if your income is only 20k then you would be considered as a high risk for any lender.....generally speaking most lenders do not like anyone having debt which is over 50% of their annual income0
-
That's a significant debt. Does your income support such a debt?...bearing in mind 40-50% of income as debt would scare many lenders these days.Mustbeananswer?? wrote: »I already have other commitments that I am managing admirably.....AT THE MOMENT???£10,000 loan £5000 credit cards

Home owner?
Time with bank?
Time in job?
Financial Associates?
No of dependants?
...are all thrown into the lenders credit scoring mix.0
