  • Does anyone know of a good TV review/comparison site? I've seen a few LCDs in the shops and I'm not very impressed, plus I'd like to read comments before buying this sort of thing on the internet.

  • I bought one similar to this from Argos for £499: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5291924.htm
It's a nice TV, but it's not wall-mountable. It has the holes on the back, but there's nothing in them to screw into.

For just a bit more, I returned the Bush and bought this Hyundai Q321 from Novatech. It's a much nicer looking TV (the speakers detach from the bottom, leaving you with a very thin frame which looks great), and it's wall mountable. It's also got an integrated freeview tuner (DVB-T).

Remember you will need a HDMI socket on your HD screen to receive true HD, otherwise the Sky/Cable box will just give you a SD picture.
    No you don't.
You can get a HDMI to DVI cable which will work.

The Toshiba 32" is now £613 delivered for the non Freeview option - which is the one I went for as it's not available in the village I live and have Sky+ anyway.

The 32WLT66 is £700 is Currys at the moment on a promotion. Check out the link for further info on how to obtain it at this price.
  • Does anyone know if you'll be able to buy the Woolies TV online? If so, you'll be able to save a further 5% by purchasing it through Quidco.

I really can't believe how desparate people appear to be to buy the cheapest LCD HDTV they can find. The technology is relatively new and even the premium brands are getting fairly ordinary reviews, so to pay just a couple hundred less on an unknown obscure brand seems a bit of a gamble to me to say the least.

I have just teken deivery of one of these Flat Screen TVs.

Ordered on the Internet and delivered next day. Complete with Two Years Warranty.

From searching on the Internet I believe that this model is produced by TECO for Sony that costs a lot more.
