Renault Megane - Exhausted Exhaust

Thanks so much for the advice (and the top-quality laughs, hehe). Was seriously worried when I started the car this morning, so took it to my lovely local garage. There was a HUGE rusty hole in the big cylindrical box-thing and the whole back half of the exhaust had come away from the car completely!

The boys fixed the new parts for me there and then, gawd bless 'em. (And they even gave me a courgette and a couple of big tomatoes from their vegetable box as well! Result!!:D)

Car now sounds better than it did when I bought it. Not sure what it'll cost though - they're going to send me an invoice.

Here's one more: Did you hear that Pedigree Chum has gone into administration? They've called in the Retrievers...
