Free ESPN Sports this weekend

ESPN Sports (Sky Channel 417) are having 3 days of freeview starting on Friday morning as an incentive to attract new subscribers. I'm not sure whether this applies to Virgin Media customers also but its worth checking out.

Anyway, here's the best of what's coming this weekend with 3 matches each from Serie A and the German Bundesliga and also a Scottish Premier League match featuring reigning champions Rangers:

Coverage starts at 6am on Friday morning and lasts right through until 6am on Monday morning giving you 72 hours of free sports. Unfortunately no English Premier League matches which is probably why ESPN have decided to do it this weekend.

And there's the confirmation, it is indeed also free for Virgin Media customers.

ive got free espn on my sky box, but i cant get it on my freeview tv???
any ideas.
my tv has integrated freeview, i have no cam or card in the tv.

is it sky only.

Sky, Freesat or Virgin Media only as far as I know so BT Vision viewers lose out too.

Looking forward to seeing Hamilton Accies put a few past Rangers tomorrow. :T

And those Bundesliga matches look pretty tasty too.

It is NOT available on freesat. Whether it is available to FreesatFromSky viewers or not I do not know BUT it definitely requires a valid Sky viewing card.
