RM Recorded Delivery!

RM Track and Trace is a total waste of time and money. The system is supposed to provide peace of mind but just gives the poor sender additional expense and anxiety that their item has been lost in transit.

I posted some documents on behalf of an elderly relative on 2 Sept. Yesterday, much to my relief, I received an email from the addressee saying my letter had arrived. However, it is still showing up online as having left my local post office on 2/9/10 and being processed.

I mentioned this to a colleague and she said she had been in a similar situation. After a week she phoned Royal Mail and they said an item had to be missing for 2 weeks before they would take any action. She then contacted the recipient who confirmed that her letter had been delivered several days previously. It never did show up as delivered on the track and trace system –so what is the point of it?

Suggest the OP contacts the recipient to confirm if the item has arrived because Track and Trace just doesn’t work.

I'm still waiting for THREE items that I sent RD from 3 MONTHS ago t arrive at their destinations.
RM are a waste of space.
