Try calling them on 0844 8330 707 all you will hear will be a message stating there office is closed and is open between 9am - 8pm monday to friday or something like that, even though i tryed calling at 10am then 11am again at 3pm and 4pm.

They did call me and told me that I have been accepted for a loan. They did give me a phone number and asked me to call them which I did following that (after 10 minutes confirmation of details) I have been told sorry. Which is OK. But later on I have find out that that phone call cost me £25.00 . That is what we call Daylight Robbery.0

This shower are still at it - for some reason I've been targeted by these firms in the last month, averaging 5 calls a day from this and other similar sounding loan firms. The calls are incessant and constant, and with the similar details they provided, I can only assume there is some way you can 'target' an individual and arrange to have the telephone number 'bombed' by these calls.
In the end, I had to spend £100 on a TrueCall unit to weed out the inbound calls from the ones I want, and their useful Weblink service means I can nightly monitor the calls marking up which firms call and when. Have any other MSE members suffered from a similar sustained attack from multiple loan firms?0 -

Why would anyone call a company on a premium rate 0844 number? :wall:
They're making money from you just by not answering."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I think you'll "discover" they're shysters."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

I had a similar call from Discover or Discovery Finance this morning. It started with "its about your loan application" and followed with, "well do you want a loan then" It seems to be a cold calling way of persuading people (possibly already in a vulnerable financial situation) to apply for loans they didnt even consider getting. I asked what the interest rate would be and they passed me on to another person who said they couldnt tell me until I had gone through the entire application. I decided I could always look them up and come back to them after I had researched them if I wanted to so I ended the conversation there. I have no idea whether they could have provided me with a loan or not but i was not prepared to agree to the suggested £5000 over the phone without a lot more thought. I suggest you all do the same.0

How annoying it is while you are getting calls from a service provider company which service is not needed by you. Just like everyday I am getting calls from a public bus service.AntFrit0
