  • Yes but the point is they may be able to cancel it - particuarly as they have not even confirmed the date.

    Also, their T's and C's state that if more than 8 days notice is given then the charge is 30% which appears more reasonable. Given that the move date may be 17 September, this would be more than 8 days notice. Even if it wasn't - for the cancellation charge to double in light of a few hours does not, in my view, represent the losses which they have suffered.

    True they may have been able too - just playing devils advocate with it mind as you never knwo the T&Cs teh company have with the shipping company may also be a high charge for cancellations.

    Sorry OP but you have stated that you didnt read the T&Cs and im afriad that that then leaves you with not a lot of options as you entered into a contract with them... Then YOu failed to honour it..

    imagine if a company done the same to you - It would be SCAM / RIP OFF and pages of threads of it on here.
