New Sky Installation - Sky+HD box?

Sky engineer is due to come round on Friday and install new Sky box etc. but on the Order Tracking it has down that it is a HD box that they are installing.
I vaguely remember someone posting that in some places Sky are installing the HD boxes instead of the standard Sky+ boxes.
Would this explain why it says this?

Sky+ boxes are no longer manufactured and Sky are installing the HD box for every installation except the second room in multiroom installs. If you have asked for a Sky+ install then you will get an HD box without the HD subscription (although you will be able to view and record the free HD channels - BBC HD, ITV1 HD, channel 4HD, Five HD, Luxe HD and soon BBC1 HD. The price is lower if you take the HD sub as you are paying back the subsidy quicker but you do not have to take it.0
