travel insurance for UK holiday

I am reluctant to pay £15 for travel insurance for a 4 night/5 day break in the UK (with friends but not DH ) with a coach company but they won't allow you to book without it or equivalent insurance.
What exactly am I needing cover for?
Cancellation - but the only reason I would expect to cancel would be if DH was ill and I know that pre-existing medical conditions won't be covered anyway.
Lost luggage - most unlikely on a one coach trip.
Hospitalisation - free in UK.
Repatriation - yes, it could cost to get me home , dead or alive but a remote possibility.
