Royal Mail Slow

Options
I ordered two things on the internet:

-Some cathode lights from ebuyer, it was dispatched via 1st class royal mail on Thursday 21st September

-A USB mini xmas tree from a seller on ebay.co.uk, it was dispatched via 2nd class royal mail on Sunday 24th September. EDIT: Received 27th September :D

These items have not arrived yet, I'm getting worried now... Shall I keep on waiting or have my packages been lost? I've already complained to ebuyer. What should I do now?

Usually my orders from the internet arrive always on time, I wonder what could be wrong...

It's worth checking when the items arrive that they were dispatched on the date they say it was! Have you dealt with these suppliers before? I get things quicker from USA than I do from some ebayers here!!!!

Yeah... first thing would be to doubt the senders are actually sending them when they claim. The item sent on Thurs should really have turned up by now however a 2nd class item on Sunday (so probably collected on monday) is still within the normal timeframe

Yeah, I've bought from ebuyer last may, spent about £600 and it arrived on time with city link. I'm not sure why there's a delay this time.
  • Does Royal Mail give 15 days allowance? I thought it was 10 days?
We are sorry that you have not received your order from Ebuyer but we ship in good faith that the couriers will get the goods to you on time. Our aim is to meet or beat our expected delivery times for our customers and I can only apologise for this inconvenience.

However, Royal Mail will not enter into any investigations with us until 15 working days have elapsed. we have to abide by this policy.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have still not received the order after this time has elapsed and we would be able to submit a claim for you for either a refund or replacement goods.

    Kind Regards

Royal Mail seriously annoy me. I don't send anything without proof of postage these days. The amount of postage that gets lost is crazy

  • Maybe there's something going on? Didn't some guy get his job back with the royal mail even though he did something wrong? It was on Sky News, I can't remember.

  • But anyway, is it 15 or 10 days before an item can be considered lost?
