There is an over 55 rate on that cruise so Virgin should be able to get that if you have 55+ in the cabin.
Cruise only is £716 or £633 with 55+ discount direct from Celebrity priced as a 2*7n so there may be some discount on that.
Virgin Flight 2nd return 16th £795 so £1500.
Other flight options are indirect.
I think virgin will be hard to better because they have the flights0 -

Help!
My oh and I would like to try cruising. We are looking to go either in April or May to the Nowegian Fjords. We have about £2000 plus spending available. We have seen some cheap deals available with P and O or with Cruise and Maritime, but when we look at the reviews we are really put off. Please can someone give a balance and honest view?
We are mid fifties and for health reasons cannot fly. We hate queues and don't much like big crowds. We do like meeting new people and love to explore new places.
We would really like to do the coastal tours that Hurtigren do, but getting to Bergen without flying is difficult.
Any ideas?
P&O is ideal for you, dont be put off by the super big ships like Azura and Ventura, as they are so big a lot of passengers get swallowed up quickly and it never seems crowded. Hurtigren (Hertigruten?) are an excellent choice if you are mobile, prepared for more of an adventure, they are more basic ships and can travel in rough water. The big P&O ships tend to have balances so you feel the swell a lot lot less. If you want to ask questions you can PM me rather than take up more on the offers board here

Thomson red sea trips are dropping in price worth watching and shopping around if you can leave late, these have droped again £20 this morning.
10th March around £370(outside)
17th March around £330
I say a round because there are a bound to be extras like tickets on departure and meals on fight etc.
Still good value.
Thomson own cruisedeals so they tend to have the better prices on-line but I think thomas cook and the highstreet can be competiative with Thomson cruise packages.0 -

We really want to go on RCI for some winter sun - is this a really good offer or could prices get cheaper closer to the time? What is the best way to keep an eye out for RCI deals for Jan / Feb 2012? Should I start checking cruise.co.uk / cruiseking / thomas cook around 12 weeks before or is there a magic amount pppn that is worth snapping up?0 -

We went on Thomson Red Sea cruise 4 years ago and is excellent value! We had a great time although only got off the ship in Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada and AqabaFunny thing is our cruise also worked out exactly £330pp including all fees / flights / transfers etc! If anybody has any questions about the cruise I'll be happy to try to answer.
