Top Up TV is £39 per month for Sky Sports 1 & 2, and ESPN. It is more expensive than the sky option, but you are not tied into a contract with them.
The thing with Sky is you need to sign up to min 12 months, and pay for set up etc, and in rented, this can bea pain (hence why I have pted for Top Up TV).
BT tie you in to 18 months, but you have to take out Broadband and Phone as well. Personally, I wouldnt touch BT with a barge pole.
Im quite happy with the Top Up TV option, if it gets a bit expensive one month, I can just cancel and not pay a penny until I want to again. With Sky, you have to pay the minimum amount still.0 -
One thing which is often and sometimes, I'd say "convenienly" missing (and What Satellite mentioned above also missed it), with Virgin you don't have a 12 months contract to watch premium channels (like Sky Sports).
You can dip in and out on monthly basis.
There is an initial 12 months contract to have Virgin TV installed, but there is no lenghty contract for premium channels.0 -
topuptv (freeview with a card) have some offers at the mo', depends what u want exactly.
if u dont have a box then if u subscribe to sports 1 & 2 for 1 year they give u a free digibox recorder. u can also sign up thru TopCashBack and get £20 cashback.
so 12 x £29.99 = £359.88 - £20 TOTAL £349.88
NB. the box is free to keep and records with no subscription
