If you put £500 in a fruitie and you won sod all you wouldn't go to the vendor and ask he open up the machine so you can have your money back? Or would you?
  • If I lost 500 in one machine I'd tip someone off to rob it back, Im sure its been done

Lucky I dont gamble, risky investment is far more legit, yea right :p

    Business Law fail.

The liability of shareholders in a public company, unlike partners in a partnership, is limited to their investment in their shareholding.

    Geek alert :o

Your both right I think, its possible or was to have that kind of liability in a public company even. Unfortunately people like goodwin dont share any of the downside, all this hot air and they couldnt change that.

Politics is so useless 90% of the time. Now a days liability is usually limited to wealth contained or paid in the shares of a company but often they can cash this out immediately or far too soon.

How about a pension paid completely in shares, goodwin would not have had 500k a year, he would now receive 23k a year. Seems more then fair
