Who from?
No you cant. Your shares may be worth something when the administrator has finished his work or may not.
That's the nature of investing and why it is essential to have a broad range of investments. IMHO a novice investor should always start with a diversified fund, not a holding in one company.0 -
you signed up especially to ask that question?
I can get you a refund if you send me a £600 admin fee.0 -

>can I claim back the money I invested?<
You could try a misselling angle if you bought them on advice from an IFA and he didn't do a risk appraisal.0 -
If you sold them short then you are quids in, £500 to be exact !0

if you decided to invest £500 in a single company, then you really should of done enough research/reading or have enough common sense to know that if a company goes bust, you lose the investment.
however there is still a slim chance you wont of lost all of it. you'll have to wait and see how administration goes for them0 -
You took a small punt and unfortunately dont have much chance of getting it back. I have taken similar risks and some aim companies pay off and alot dont, tho i cant believe anyone would invest in any property firms.0

Help. I just went to the casino and put £500 on Red and it came up Black. How do I reclaim my money? Surely they can't get away with this! I needed that money!
