  • Gutted. Would have been a no spend day but was in the bog and my small change dropped out of my pocket and I forgot to pick it up. £1.67 down.

    Was that it? No!

    So it's £290 + £1 + £43 + £44 = £378 today.

Better to not have too many of those. :o

Was planning a no spend, but nipped into Lidl for shoe laces for DH (49p for 3 pairs!) and came out with a few other things too (nothing exciting, toilet cleaner etc.) and £5.47 poorer :o

    I've had a no spend day today:j :j

Mind you I did spend £62 in Asda yesterday (hoping to make it last because one of my hungry mouths moved to university this week)

Even so I was very good and took a sandwich to work and milk for my coffee in a little bottle rather than going and buying it (because I rarely leave the shop with just a bottle of milk) I'm hoping for a no spend tomorrow too.

    Well I wouldn't stop you...

    :)
Petrol and shopping at ASDA for Dad's birthday and OH's presents for people at work. My OH is moving on to pastures new and wishes to leave little tokens of appreciation.

Strictly speaking the petrol goes on the VISA so isn't paid untill next month, and the shopping is from joint account - but hey - I still spent it...

Well I only wish I were working with your OH as she's so generous.

Actually scrap that, I wish I were off to pastures new and wouldn't mind leaving consolation prizes to all those left behind :)

Well done on including everything. I tend to leave joint spending out of this thread but include all visa/mastercard stuff.

Well since it's out of the joint account - WE are generous...

If I spend it I suppose I include it. Most days I don't spend anything (:j) - benefits of working full time and not going to the shops.

It all goes pear shaped at the weekend... :rotfl:
