Love this thread! Not found any 1p bargains as yet, but found a 'hidden discount' shelf randomly placed in the kitchen isle with allsorts on it!

Any way, I picked up two packs of placemats (4 mats in each) , black with brown swirly patterns for 20p a pack! And matching coasters for 25p a pack, again 4 coasters in each!

There were lots of pottery plates, gravy boats, vases etc but were all over £3.00 so not worth mentioning here!

There was a spotty mug for 8p though!!!

ha ha i'm loving this thread and watchinng with great interest. Hubby working tomorrow so may spend entire day combing the shelves of mr t for bargains ha ha !!

Thanks guys, I managed to get three bags of the coffee from Kingston Park (Newcastle) Tesco tonight.
Went through the self service - it said something about a security tag needing to be de-activated (didn't buy anything with a tag on) so the SA came over, but all was fine.

Loads of bags of coffee on the shelf and they were marked up at 3.48 or something.

I got 4 bags of coffee this evening at glos store, I was really surprised as SEL was 3.48 and marked up as new product. I did leave at least 5 bags for others.

thanks op managed to get 4 bags at coventry store there was plenty left - they were on the bottom of the shelf . Brilliant thread

should have seen me trying to read this thread on my rubbish phone at Tesco, the security guard was getting a bit suspicious, so scanned one at scanner and left it, although DS kept giving it back to me to buy!

will put in my phone the code and have another try tomorrow.

Glad so many of you managed to get the coffee, I got 7 bags over 2 visits but they're now all gone and the sel has been removed from my store:( I'm a bit of a coffeeholic and I really like the taste of it, so its a shame they'll no longer sell as I would have bought it at normal price.
