  • I went to the Wrehax TESCO store to try and get some rugular priced shopping AND 1p bargains. I was met with a hateful beligerant under manager who lied to me about not knowing who Martin Lewis is and told me that it is government legislation that items "priced at one penny are illegal". He most certainly did know about Martin Lewis as he gave away himself as he tried to exonerate himself from the false explanation.
What a plonker, well done TESCO for employing such uneducated beligerant argumentative people.
Every little helps, is thier jingle, meaning every little helps in the till, NOT in our pockets!
    Dreadful store and attitude. BEWARE.

This happened to me yesterday in Poole with some reduced slipper socks- they should have been £1 - the man said that they weren't allowed to sell them to me as they were dangerous!! They were knitted socks!!!!!!

He didn't know what to say when I asked him why they were on the shop floor if they were so dangerous!:rotfl:

All this withdrawing 1p items "because they are dangerous", seems to go completely against what the tesco spokesperson said in the newspaper article posted earlier.

Found my first 1p item today but as it wasn't on file and potentially dangerous it was promptly confiscated a the till - it was a flexible Mr Tickle for goodness sake and I genuinly wanted it regardless of the price........boooooo Mr T
  • Seems Mr Ts are taking to cutting their nose of to spite their face...at least bargains were had whilst it lasted.
