I've never found these before, but spotted some in an express yesterday. Can someone please tell me if they are still 1p and if it works in an express as I have to try to sneak them through a SS till! ;)

Got some from Axminster Tescos at the weekend. 22p. :D

This Water is quite good actually, so thanks for the heads up, OP! I don't think we need to babysit these companies, as Caz said, millions are made every year by overcharging customers who don't read their receipts.

On another note and relating to self scanners...has anyone ever noticed before that at most of supermarkets, the self scan SA has a screen that lists each till in a grid on screen, including how much cash is being tendered, the scanned prices, etc...so self scan is not as anonymous as we think. Not that they always keep a beady eye on that screen, anyway. Apologies if this is already common knowledge.

Someone mentioned that a while ago, and it's made me paranoid now:rotfl:Saying that I don't think I've ever seen anyone bothering to watch it, They are usually too busy in my locals gassing to their friend on the basket till:p

I had a good look at the SA screen a week or so ago and concluded that they only see the last 5 (or was it 6) items per till on their screen. Any time I've had a 1p item I've faffed about and waited until the SA has had to leave their screen to deal with an SS issue then scanned the 1p items as fast as I can with some filler items around them. So far so good!!

My two coupons worked a treat today - £2.70 off shopping, This Water only cost £1.80, so 90p towards the rest of the bill. I've yet to try printing today though...

Yep, normal checkout. Probably more noticeable if you only have three quid's worth of stuff, but I had fifteen.

the screen is good for nosing at what other people are buying too.. :rotfl: in our T where people queue for SS you can CLEARLY read what people are scanning!

i accidently put the wrong transaction number in the price checker too the other day and got the person behind mes shopping back instead of mine!
