This isnt a 1p item but wanted to post on here first as you guys have been great and I havent really been able to give you back anything in return...BUT...

This Water are giving away the minimum of a free bottle when you enter their comp on selected bottles. the voucher they send doesnt have a limit so my poor printer has been working on overdrive! When voucher scans it takes of the maximum of £1.35 rather than the price of a bottle which is £1.35 or 2 for £1.80 in Tesco. So buying 2 bottles with 2 vouchers gives you 90p profit. I've done this today and it works, I managed to get a free bottle of wine after using 12 vouchers :D (Said bottle of wine also has 200 extra points :D:D)

Will be raiding the store again tomorrow for more bottles.... :D

You do realise that its the makers of this drink that are taking the hit dont you ?

And to all the other posters , posting about getting refunds of double the difference , the costs of all this are passed on in one way or another , so either indirectly by higher prices else where , or more worringly job losses
I hope your full shelves of crap bought for the sake of it , gives you some comfort
Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later

I'm not going to have an argument with you but as an example, in the last couple of weeks I've had 8 unique DTDs:

    Toys
    Gardening stuff
    Gardening stuff
    Gardening stuff
    Clothing
    Paper cutters
    Electrical
    Gardening stuff

Most of these I knew nothing of in advance as some of them were multi-buys that didn't kick in or in stores that don't even have a price checker. I never used to pay attention to my receipts and they were binned as soon as I got home but now I check them over carefully. I know that's probably an exceptional number of DTDs in such a short time but I haven't gone hunting them out specifically so how many other people have been overcharged and either not noticed or couldn't be bothered with the hassle of getting a refund. And how many people who have gone to CS have been refused their legitimate DTD by staff who lie through their teeth? I dread to think how much I've been diddled out of over the years but lets face it, getting the DTD I now know I'm entitled to is hardly going to make a dent in Tescos profits.

Is this still the 1p thread ?

    Good, then I'll begin.

There probably won't be a lot of these around so don't make a special trip. In Boreham wood Tesco this morning, I found some:

Gold Tesco Christmas Placemats 4 pack. SEL said 1p and they scanned at 1p B/C 5 052004 617338.

I bought the last 3 packs sorry ! There was also a SEL for:
1p red xmas placemats - none left though.

I also bought the last 10 packs of 20p paxo.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have yet to find a penny item or get a DTD but I certainly don't begrudge those that do. I find it sad that some feel the need to vent at others. Pelirocco needs to stop moaning and do something more productive. Many of the offers on here I am sure help those that really need it. My main frustration is not having the funds for the initial outlay on a DTD and the nearest T's extra is a 38 mile round trip. Despite this I enjoy reading of others triumphs and share their excitement and joy. Long may it continue !!!!

the makers of the drink are stupid for allowing this promotion to carry on - the big drinks companies such as coke etc don't run a lot of these offers for a reason.
this particular water company are flogging a dead horse at the end of the day, cos water is, lets face it, already paid for out of a tap! they probably realise this and hence the offers. if more marketing people did their research into the coupons, they would know straight away that they can be exploited. if it can be done then it will be done. stop shooting the messenger, and go to the source!:D
bargain hunting is what i do! :money: 2 adults 3 kids - its like trying to feed a zoo! :D
