1p finds at Tesco thread

omg met my first trout today... popped in to a tescos on the way to somewhere else and thought i would pop in to see if they had any bargains.. managed to get the stripy socks, 2 for a pound reduced from 8 pounds, and a pant and sock set from 10 for 1.25 which is going in to my xmas pressie box... then yay i saw the glasses with the stickers on and bought 4... it was heaving in there and i had my three year old with me so i went through self scan with one if the finest choc pudds for 87p... and was therefore overcharged .. went to cs and the woman was like no sorry its your problem sort of attitude and wouldnt give me the dtd as said it wasnt their policy for dtd on self scan tills.. i explained i didnt see the overcharge until the receipt came out and the mutibuy wasnt on the bottom.. i also pointed at the dtd sign behind her and asked where it said self scan not included.. so i was very nice still, and asked if she could call a manager over to confirm it.. she did and he came over and told her i was due the dtd.. yay ... got it ...

I was in Carmarthen store today and managed to get 2 sets of matching socks and undie's for my OH for £1.25... I too, looked for the sox... what I did get for free though was the 2 x Garlic Minced (schwartz herb)... in the discounted section near the bread..

When it went through the till it stated "not on file"... so the lovely lady that I try going to when Im there said.... "ah well, if its not on file, put them in your trolley"... :T:T:T

I tried all the panasonic phones, no glitches there either!!!! grrrrrrrr

I recon Carmarthen staff are too on the ball when it comes to these glitches!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

BUT... I did manage to womble 4 receipts... 3 hadnt had their points loaded, so off to CS I went to add those... only small, but hey, everything counts!!!!!!! :A

My husband works in Haverfordwest.... but he cringes when I ask him to pop to Tesco for me!!!!!!!!!!

Argh :mad: just looked at my receipt I got 6 boxes of socks and 1 box of socks and undies, she scanned 7 x socks and undies so I paid £1.25 for the socks. Don't even think I can take them back for DTD as theres no sel and the sticker says £8.

Why oh why do I go to T's when I'm tired. :doh:

this happened to me recently with a telly, wobn;t bore with details but store refusing to sell at lableed price, finally got refund today after having to wait all weekend am now pursuing dtd with head offiice instead. store offer 10 then £20 giftcard instread but would not honour price on shelf faor a samsung 32" tv wiht serioes number obscured by out of stock label eg 450 or 460 series. they still took price label down after to avoid consuing anyone else!!!!!!

Got DTD on 4 tumblers today also noticed the leather wallets are marked £8 but scanning through at £1, Shows up as 'mens hats' on the receipt

I was thinking of you when I wrote that comment. At the end of the day, we are not paid to double check that the product an dthe price label match up. Sometimes it's obvious that there's a mistake but in my case today, the SEL matched the product but now I know that for every product I buy, I should check the barcode on the SEL and on the product and make sure they're the same :rotfl:

Seriously, I don't get paid enough to do that even with all this DTD and glitching!

the store manager rang back on saturday to offer me a £10 giftcard for our trouble :eek::eek::eek::eek: stuff that i said we haven't even had our £379 refund yet.

storemanager was convinced that as it said out of stock on lable that would cover them - as we should always take notice of labels.

wot like yazoo milkshakes that had oos that i bought 4 of on saturday, and the sock sets that you supervisor said i had to be charged 1.25 for when it had a 1.00 lable on.

he was embarassed adn said who was that i*ll deal with them later!

went in today 3rd attempt. refund wouldn't go through again to refund. store manager and checkout manager there today who admitted she had not read sel we showed her on friday i made her squirm when i got her to admit i did show it do her as i had to take it out of my bag to put down in front of her again.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: store manager wasn;t going to budge on dtd so we asked for a refundi and checkout manager still could not do it, in the end a lowly checkout ast finallly said if you want to do a refund just press this button.............BINGO.



now arguing toss with head office instead.:cool:

no mice sel anymor ein mine, no mega blocks space anymore :S, saw glasses but couldnt be bothered with hassle as was same cs staff

also pani phones has right sel better than half price
