anyway, had a brilliant idea: I think the offer on the denby dinner sets ends today and it was half price or bthp... so it's one to look out for tomorrow and check how much they scan for :D they are in most stores and many have them in different places over the store with LOTS of SELs everywhere(soo easy to miss one LOL) :D:D:D

YES it's the denby one and the James Martin one going back to full price as from tomorrow. I will be cycling in to look for SELs - bringing my BIG backpack - will shout if I find something :D Also loads of other reductions in the kitchen/homeware aisle resetting, and lots of offers shop-wide too. It's a big day for the Tesco elves!

I admire you for cycling everywhere. I have visions of you buying a freezer, getting DTD and cycling furiously home with the freezer attached to your back!

    Good on you. xx

Yay! Got my first ever dtd deal today on the tumblers. :j thanks everyone!
Visited a different tesco outside London which had two scanners! Got excited as local one back home doesn't have any but both scanners said please contact member of staff. SA said they were having 'electrical problems'. Didn't want to attract too much attention, so didn't try turning off at switch above.
Tried scanning some things through checkout but still no luck on anything to share.
I am always noticing other shoppers with either dtd or penny items now and tesco seems very on the ball lately.

Can confirm that 3 x 5p vouchers on petrol have worked for me too. Printed out tesco page as linked by earlier poster in case there was trouble.

Just realised via my cancellation on my till receipt that the panasonic phone was actually £10 more than the SEL as it scanned at 59.97 (sel 49.99) still too pricey for me but a £20 DTD if anyone is looking for a phone.

    Hiya

Not a 1p item but I noticed them putting the freebreeze air freshners on the end of the aisle tonite in Mr T's. have now checked and they are usually £3 but going on to 2 for £4, got vouchers for these on SS think £1 off and they are £2 each in asda so they might be free?
    will test it out tomorrow

whoever gets the chance to scan them please report the price asap :rotfl:

    happy hunting tomorrow everyone

:TThanks for this idea. I love Denby, it's the only stuff I don,t manage to chip. Lasts for ever, My original set is still as good as new and intact, despite taking a bashing over the past 25 yrs. Cost a fortune when I bought it. Fancied a change though and last Aug when T's had a half price offer got the blue set. It's just as good as the stuff from the Denby shop and me proof.

Good luck every one. I shall be out hunting

I'm a newbie on here, been looking through these posts recently, coincidentally went to Tesco yesterday and my boyfriend picked up Transformers boxset priced at £5 but scanned at £9, unfortunately he said "that's supposed to be £5" just as the guy scanned it, I told him he should've bought it cos I thought he could get DTD but wasn't sure. Next time I definitely know.
The assistant tried to claim it was on the wrong shelf, the first Transformers should've been there but fortunately that dvd was just along the same shelf
