1p finds at Tesco thread

I was delighted today when i finally found some of the roses chocs. I was going to buy all the 16 but decided to scan them first and they scanned at £1:( I know they were the right ones cos I had the pics of the towers posted on here flashing before me when I saw them I got them scanned at the self scan but even before I could scan them a sa said if they scan at 1p you cannot buy them as it is a misprice and we have been told not to sell them. So even if they were still 1p I wouldn't have been able to buy them. Has anyone bought some today at 1p? I'm just wondering if it is my store which has changed the price or if it is correct everywhere

Oooooh, waiting on baited breath for the chocolate Black Magics!!! - My Husband has gone out for a few drinks with the lads tonight and the kids are in bed.... sooo tempted to get a babysitter to come round so i can go down and check!!!....

is that a little bit too obsessed??

I've read a couple of times of this thread now that they've been scanning at £1, so it looks as if they've fixed the price :mad:

they were scanning at £1 in my local store too..... first time i saw them aswell!! doh!! xx

Was at Plymouth extra store today, and didn't even bother checking the chocs - there were so many boxes near the scanner, i knew they were going through full price!!!

Please dont get rid of the penny list, sometimes I have only a few mins to spare to check on here, it will say that since ive last been on, the thread has 5 or 6 new pages, and most of it is people arguing or complaining about each other.
The penny list is great and thepearce and others work hard on it, thank you guys :T

They are now priced £1. It may possibly be as many complaints were raised concerning refusal to sell them. Although such complaints are certainly warranted, folk should NEVER be humiliated for attempting to purchase an item which is for sale, the powers that be were thus informed of the price glitch. It was certainly good while it lasted though :EasterBun
