1p finds at Tesco thread

At last I think I have something to contribute. Not a big saving but HARTLEYS LEMON & LIME JELLY POTS said 10p each - 4 for £1.50. Other flavours were 40p each and 4 for £1.50 Bought 12 and they went through at 10p each. Barcode 50126026. I think a friend of Martins got to the store first though as the T bags and Jugits had been totally rummaged through and none with the right barcodes there. No Harpic, nuts, mice, strawberry tarts , sweetcorn or Starbucks . Got chocolate custard though. (Amersham store) Sorry cant work out how to make the jelly comment blue.0

Thank you all so much for your contributions and I look forward to sharing with you
Welcome Emma!
Hope you find this thread as rewarding as I have.
Only ever found 2 x 1p bargains before. The adzuki beans and the cheese sauce. But have benefitted from many other cheap bargains - 20p pasta sauce, 10p noodles, 8p sweetcorn, 10p spaghetti to name a few.
Today however, I can add penny item No 3!!
4 x Koko truffles. I reckon they must've been clearing out the stockroom though, as they are dated july / aug 2011 and the packaging is a bit weary. But I cleared all 4 from the shelf. There were a couple of short dated pink ones but as the price checker appeared to have been vandalised!!! I didn't bother checking.
Also bagged myself 13 of the chocolate custards. I always share my goodies and my wee old Mum looks forward to the random bag of shopping I bring her :rotfl:
I noticed the Homepride chilli that most of us got a while ago has gone from 10p up to a whopping £2.01:eek:
And aren't prices in general just creeping up. Bad Mr T's.
Looking forward to the day that I can find a 1p bargain and share with you all
ETA: Also got one of the Maxwell house 70g pouches for 50p. Only 1 as I'm quite fussy about my coffee and want to try it first.
And this was all in the Wishaw store for any other "friends of Martin"My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

think we should rename you lucky nikkilala
i've had £8 off £80 spend burning a hole in my handbag for a while, what the heck do i do with that??!!!
True and I take on board your comments but I agree with adam i'm afraid and I hope you would take on board the comments of the "regular" contributors on the thread and some of us are beginning to feel differently.
Seriously though, how about a vote? One was done on the coupon thread recently and it would give us an idea of how everyone feels about the issue and allowed to have their say -I would be happy to post deals on the thread but a spreadsheet that was being posted all over the place I am not so sure I would be willing to share information
The DTD list gradually did go viral and was posted on multiple forums and there was alot of upset about it at the time too.
How about reminding peeps to post new deals or barcodes in BLUE BOLD to allow people to readily identify the deals if you don't have time to read the chat but still means you have to scroll through?
P.S. 2 questions pls:D
anyone had a positive result on th mint thins or orange segments today?
also are the jugits sold in normal extras? the jugit site link posted earlier this morning only showed about 10 stores in the country but the way you guys are talking sounds like they are stocked all over?
Thanks celebrate I have been really lucky lately :TI got my milk jug from a normal extra and both that I went to today had them. I think they will be in most, just remember you need the one with bue bar code.
I do agree with having a vote to see what should happen to the spreadsheet as it would give a fair idea of how everyone feels about it, I remember the one on the coupon thread. I actually spoke to a friend today who knows that I am always getting bargains and she said to me"Did you know theirs a list you can print off of the internet, it's a penny list of stuff that's cheap in Tesco's" so to be honest it is being used far more than we think.Beware!!!! sad,sad day shopping today!!
lol
no nuts or puddings (well there never has been but I live in hope!)
no custard/harpic/mice/tea bags.
dishwasher tabs/mints/turkish delight thins all full price.
and I asked a guy in the chiller section about the jugits, and poor soul looked very bewildered "jug whats?" :rotfl:
as did the other 2 guys he asked. lol I think they thought I'd lost the plot when I went on to explain they were to put the 'bags' of milk in "bags of milk madam!?":rotfl:
So I took that as a no!0 -

Hi celebrate
I went to my local extra (Goodmayes) at lunchtime and they were selling the jug-its in there, mix of the two barcodes, I got some for 1p. I've just come back from another local extra (Hornchurch) and they also had the jug-its in there, again a mix of barcodes. I only went there this evening because I'm trying to get the T-bags (still none with right barcode).
With regards to the mints and orange segments, I asked a young SA on the electrical desk to check price for me and they both scanned at £1.

That would be moi. What have you found from that store? Any 1ps?
Was it you who left a box of Throntons chocs behind self scanner a while ago or is there another friend out there?
Hi, Just a word of caution:
NEVER leave unwanted items by a scanner. They will use any reason to remove the machine from the store. If it is causing extra work for the staff, they will not maintain it when it breaks down (which it will!).
If you must dump em, at least do it in another aisle!
No offense. It is in everyone's best interests though.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
