I guess the hostility towards HUKD will mean nobody will want to pursue the new 1p bargain spotted by tracyjanepudding on that site:

Just went to my local Tesco Express in Kirkby in Ashfield, Notts. Not only are the Mint Thins a penny, but so are the Choccy Orange Segments. Shelf price says £1.04 but at the till they are £0.01, so I have lots of yummy 'Choclit'. Enjoy why you can.

Hi, could someone do me a favour and post more details about the Finest Belgain Chocolate Desert, size, barcode etc, or a wee pic would be cool. Saw some the other day, but wasnt sure as the tarts were the wrong boxes and think these might be too. I should have just scanned one to check, i know... lol Cheers!!

i love mse and hotukdeals, it's not too hard to navigate once you know how, you can click the bottons at the top to hone onto certain sections. deals like these get shared all across the web, by limiting some sites you could miss out on bargains for example as posted by edindevon. one of the recent beer deals in scotland was posted on hot deals first. as for a list making it to easy to find stuff, well this is a public forum and many newbies may go on to find a glitch and then post it on here if made welcome enough.

Just went in my local Tesco Express & noticed the staff stocking up on these - Had a look, shelf edge ticket said 1p (normal white ticket, not in clearance section or anything).

Probably store specific but who knows... worth a look in your local & post back.

i often post deals i've seen there not here because I know certainly i don't have time to keep up with this site let alone 2 so others may benefit.

what i am starting to be unsure of the spreadsheet and whether it is worth just handing the information on a plate to people who aren't part of our "community" and aren't contributing

Yes I guess we are all just people who like a good bargain, no matter which site we use, no need for a feud, although I do agree that there is much more of a community spirit here.

managed to get 10p choc custard and 3 of the mice, however i felt like a criminal and still feel guilty:o. the tesco worker couldn't understand why our shopping was so cheap:cool:

:jWell, I had an other lovely experience today- a chance meeting with a fellow 'Friend of Martin' in Bangor (NI).
After work I poped in to Springhill T to check on chocolate custard (nothing) and was checking the tea when a guy said- 'I already checked them, no luck there' - to this I replied- 'are you friend of Martin?':p and of course he was! Anyway we got chatting about the deals in here and DTD etc. He is not currently on the forum but hopefully he will join us now- its a great crack! :T
:)Anyway, I remembered I had a few Dove coupons, so I passed on a couple and showed him how is the deal works. Later we bumped into each other in the carpark and he gave me (wait for it)- 5 boxes of mini Roses!!! What a nice thing to do!!!:A I was well chuffed, finally got a 1p item and what a nice way!
