I'm upset the spreadsheet has been posted on there too
Not sure I agree with having a spreadsheet at all tbh
Big like DTD where newbies coming in and not doing the legwork of following deals reported on the thread and just using the SS, whereas us oldies know them all off by heart.

Exactly! I'd change my sig to 'delete pennyitems' if it didn't defeat the object.

I agree with my fellow addict :rotfl:Hit the two nearest Expresses with my pushbike and no mint thins sold in either. There is a bigger Express I know of a bit further out, so I will hit that one tomorrow :j

I have done a round trip including 4 expresses on my way to pick up DD tonight and found none, and went into a normal Tesco ie. not an Extra. No chocolate custard for me either. :(

Oh dear just think I hit a record for me...6 Ts in one day!!!
(Please noone tell my OH I will be in trouble.)

Did find Hartleys Orange Jelly (the one you make) 19p, barcode 5 000354 160912 and Ambrosia Low Fat Devon Custard 500g tetra pack 30p barcode 5 000354 800238. This was a normal Tesco and both had labels saying New Lower Price. The custard had 40p crossed out but don't remember seeing it for that price in the Extra this morning or before today. :)

I too have fed my addiction tonight, sat outside local express, no mint things in stock but did pick up an original flavour ambrosia custard, 500g low fat terra pack for 31 p as per SEL. Barcode 5000354800238. Seemed cheap to me.?

Sorry cousinjack, didn't see you had already posted about the custard. Though I got it a penny cheaper than you. :D

Have you got a link to it on the other site so I can vote it cold :D

HUKD is the most gawd awful site to use. Yes, I've found a few things like the recent Jumperoo deal (which someone else posted on here) but it's so hard to find stuff. The usual response to any glitch/deal posted is "where's the receipt" which I always find to be a bit bloody cheeky. Think back to the beer thread on here and not one of us even thought to suggest the OP was telling porkie pies.

This community on here is the best. We may not all agree, we may not all find the 1p items or glitches or misprices or DTD or ..... have I missed anything? What we do have though is the ability to be nice, to be helpful and to share. Yes, some of us have filled our boots on some deals which hasn't gone down well but I know I've contributed more than enough on here to negate any negative remarks.

I was a newbie to the whole DTD thing up until a week before it finished but when I asked questions, people were very helpful. This thread is fairly easy to understand (unlike the whole DTD thing which required some explanation) so it annoys me when newbies can't be bothered to read back a few pages. Spoon feeding is for toddlers and I do enough of it with DS1. Saying that, I did start the Mothercare price check thread and for my sins I've done out a list for the Superdrug thread but in return, a lovely MSEer (wanna-be-mortgage-free) spotted an item I was after and bought it for me. Now that's a true community spirit if ever I saw one. If that was HUKD, I'd be asking to see the receipt :rotfl:

I think they are usually 78p or something, the chocolate ones that are 10p are quite nice frozen. I know its yoghurt thats supposed to frozen but I thought I would try it will the custard and the kids loved their chocolate custard lollies.
